Legal counsel

Marieke van der Put

Marieke van der Put is, together with Judith Smit, legal counsel for Delft Enterprises. Marieke started her career as an attorney in general civil law matters, Mergers & Acquisitions and also corporate litigation at international law firm Loyens & Loeff. After ten years of practising as an attorney, she changed to working as a company lawyer for the port of Amsterdam. Since 2017, she has been working in technology transfer for Delft University (at QuTech and the faculty of Aerospace Engineering) and Erasmus University MC (department of Radiology), dealing mainly with research contracts between universities and industry and all other kinds of contracts relating thereto.

Her acquired experience in corporate, contracting and technology transfer provides a good basis for assisting Delft Enterprises in the drafting of all legal documents underlying its participations in university spin-off companies. Marieke has a particular enthusiasm for contracting and providing hands-on legal support to the business and its entrepreneurs. The fact that the Delft Enterprises ventures bring new scientific inventions to the market makes it, of course, even more exciting.
